Case Study

Bioswale Stormwater BMPs

Bioswale Design Engineering Services were provided for a city center re-development. Stormwater engineering included conversion of paved areas into a permeabl bioswale facility to reduce runoff impacts. The bioswale provided storage for 1 inch of runoff from the tributary area. This was expected to result in the removal of 575 pounds per year of total suspended solids from Salt Creek. LWC provided Hydrologic Calculations, Design Services, Planting Design, Construction Details, Cost Estimates, and Construction Observation.
